Youth Enterprise Project (YEP) ~ for at risk youth between the ages of 15 – 21, provides training in various vocational skill areas while providing academic assistance.

ON Tract ~ is a highly successful program which targets youth who have a history of school behavior problems. Through this program the youths are taught hair braiding, floral arranging, T-Shirt design & transfer, and photography in preparation for starting their own businesses.

Voter Education ~ Participation yearly in voter registration drives and providing office space to county staff for training.

Millennium Seniors Program ~ providing an outlet for older Americans to participate in various recreational activities; arts, crafts, field trips, and fitness. The program also allows for collaboration with other senior based programs within Broward County.

This information outlines the straightforward process for enrolling in and accessing food assistance through the LES food pantry program.
What We Offer at Our Food Pantry

At Liberia Economic & Social Development (LES), our food pantry provides a variety of essential items to support individuals and families in need. Here's what you can typically find when you visit:

Varied Donations: Thanks to donations from four different organizations, the contents of our pantry may vary each week, ensuring a diverse selection of food items.

Essential Food Items: We strive to always have a selection of meat, dry foods such as rice and pasta, and vegetables (both fresh and canned) available.

Additional Offerings: Depending on availability, we also offer breads, desserts, milk, eggs, and cheese to supplement your nutritional needs.

Special Considerations: Periodically, we also provide items for pets to support households with animal companions.

Food Pantry Enrollment Process:
Visit the LES Office at 3220 N 24th Ave Hollywood, FL 33020 to enroll in our food pantry program

Enrollment Days: Sign-ups are processed on Monday - Thursday

Documentation Required: Please bring your ID

Card Issuance
​
Same-Day Access: If you sign up on Monday - Thursday during office hours, you can receive food assistance on the same day.
​
Subsequent Weeks: Upon completing a short enrollment form and providing the necessary documentation, you will receive a food pantry card. This card allows you to pick up food assistance weekly.
