Julian Garvin   

Julian Garvin nom de guerre Shango Ra was born in 1950 in Bronx, New York.  In 1956 he arrived in historic Liberia and graduated from Attucks High School in 1968.  In 1975 he enlisted in the US Army where he served until 2010 as a Civil Affairs Officer.  He is a real estate entrepreneur, community activist, and a culture and martial arts advocate.
