Dr. Basil Theodore Phillips

Dr. Basil T. Phillips, Sr. is currently President/CEO of Liberia Civic Association and Global Village Impact, Corp., two 501(c) 3 non-profit agencies that honor the legacy of his parents the Late Reverends Wesley and Leith.

The agency provides helping hands to the least and the loss. His previous experience includes 28 years with the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Department of Corrections, and Broward County Public Schools. He holds two Master’s Degrees – Mental Health Counseling and School Guidance and Counseling.  Due to his outstanding work in the field, he was awarded an Honorary PH.D. He is a motivational speaker whose concept is the only time you should look down on someone is when you are helping them up.  He fluently speaks Spanish and Creole. He is a proud member of the Eta Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, a Board Member of the Lauderhill Regional Chamber of Commerce and serves as an Advisory Board Member of H.A.N.A. Inc.
